For some reason, I am thinking of Gregor Samsa in The Metamorphosis, perhaps since the figure looks insect-like. The spotlight coming out of the blue and the figure leaning against the wall contribute to the feeling of inner despair and alienation under the scrutinizing eye of the world. And...I'm probably way off...but, it's a cool image:>
I wasn't thinking of an insect, though now you mention it, I see it too. I was trying for utter despair and alienation. Someone who is really, really, blue. Glad you like it.
